We are proud to announce Champions Girls Lacrosse Academy starts June 2nd!

 

Our program provides youth, middle school, and high school female athletes the opportunity to discover and experience the fastest growing team sport in America. Our Program is designed to provide education, build character, and enhance athletic development in a lacrosse centralized fashion while fostering the principles of sportsmanship, teamwork, and commitment.

NICOLE DONOGHUE

Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach at Providence Day School

  • Lake Norman High School Lady Wildcats - Varsity & JV Assistant Coach of the  2015 State Champions

  • Bridgewater College Women's Lacrosse Assistant Coach (2013-2014)

  • Coached at various D1 Camps and Clinics across the East Coast

At JMU:

  •  Defender/Draw Specialist

  • Started all 17 Games Senior year

  • JMU Athletic Director Scholar Athlete

  • JMU Most Improved Player 2013

  • Senior Team Dynamics Committee Representative

  • 2 Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Championships

  • An Elite 8 and two Sweet 16 Appearances of the NCAA Division I Women's Lacrosse tournament.

  • Graduated in May 2013 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice Studies.

High school and club:

  •  All Western Conference team as senior

  •  Led the Wildcats to a conference championship in 2009

  • Team captain and MVP as a senior, led Lake Norman in goals, ground balls and assists

  • Sportsmanship award as a sophomore and junior at John Jay High School in Cross River, NY

  •  Played for New Lax and Lake Norman club teams

  • Selected to play in the Top 50 All-Star game in North Carolina as a senior

  • Also competed in swimming/basketball, and was All-Conference, All-Region and All-State
